Shah Rukh Khan's much-awaited 'Jawan' trailer to release alongside Tom Cruise's 'Mission Impossible 7' in theatres

Shah Rukh Khan shared an update about Jawan trailer in an ‘Ask SRK’ session on Twitter last week, confirming that it is ready and will drop on time. And now the latest update has it that SRK-starrer Jawan’s highly anticipated trailer will be unveiled alongside the release of Tom Cruise's action thriller Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One in theatres.

Jawan, also starring Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara in the lead roles, has created a lot of buzz. While the fans have been waiting to see glimpses of the film in a teaser, it seems like the makers have bigger plans.

Shah Rukh's fans were initially disappointed when the star announced the postponement of Jawan from its original release date of June 2. While the new release date is September 7, the trailer unveiling on July 12 will give the film a good two-month buildup up to its release on the occasion of Janmashtami.

Beyond 'Jawan', Shah Rukh's other projects include 'Dunki', a film helmed by Rajkumar Hirani, where he stars alongside Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal. It is currently scheduled to release this year in December.
